  • djjerodasher: I see what you mean. However, I've no idea what kind of scene you play/played in (or where), but at the time this record was released, I really can't imagine many DJs would actually have wanted to pitch it down - in my experience, pitching UP would have been much more likely! My old SL1210s were adjusted so that +8 actually meant +16 (there is a way of doing this if you remove the platter on SL1210s ;) ) and I've played sets with tunes like this pitched right up to what was effectively +16 - so if the original tune was 145bpm, then I guess that I must have been playing at well over 160bpm - and as my decks were used in many clubs/raves, I know from experience that I wasn't the only one playing as fast as this :)However, I am talking about the London scene - we were pretty hardcore back then. I even used to play hard Israeli psy-trance at over 160bpm, so I was definitely pretty manic back in those days! :D
