  • Psapp kicks off THE CAMEL'S BACK with some lo-fi funk with some electronic bubbles and some saxophone in the background. It's an interesting start. "Part Like Waves" has more of a folk feel with strings and gentle guitar strumming, and the title track has a music box simplicity to it. "Somewhere There Is A Record Of Our Actions" layers Galia's vocals for a nice, shimmering track, while the perky "Marshrat" brings in all sorts of antique-sounding instrumentation. But the cleanness of "Screws" helps emphasize its inherent poignancy. "Parker: ends the album on some jazz. A cute, idiosyncratic album.
